Participants of the conference "GAI: Pro&Contra 2025". Pavel Golos

🔹 Pavel Golosov, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration

In the run-up to the conference, we asked Pavel Evgenievich to share his opinion on what the real dangers of generative artificial intelligence are, and how many years it will take before there is no area without GAI.

We will discuss all these issues with experts at the GAI: Pro&Contra 2025 conference.

🔹 "Generative artificial intelligence will not be implemented all at once — it will gradually rewrite the set of tools in every industry. In the next 5 years, we will see mass automation of creative and routine tasks, and in the long term, the transition to certified systems in critical areas. The key to successful integration of GII solutions is a combination of technological boldness, rigorous validation, and socially responsible policies."

🔹 "GII has already become part of major technology packages. When combined with big data, analytics, RPA, cloud services, and IoT, it accelerates decision-making, personalization of services, and process automation. At the same time, GIA can both increase efficiency and create systemic risks that depend on the specifics of the industry.

For example, manipulation of consumer behavior in retail; in healthcare, erroneous diagnoses and recommendations, as well as the leakage of medical data; in the media industry, disinformation and the substitution of authorship. Proactive regulation, transparency of models, and a culture of responsibility in organizations are necessary for safe integration."
